The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is AlertsUSA, Inc., 1690 Watertower Place, East Lansing, MI 48823, https://www.alertsusa.com.
Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses) and/or those living in the same household are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
The Sweepstakes begins on August 12, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. ET and ends on October 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Entry Period”). Entries must be received during the Entry Period to be eligible.
During the Entry Period, visit https://www.threatjournal.com and complete the free subscription form to the Threat Journal newsletter with a valid email address. Upon successful subscription, you will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address. Multiple entries or use of multiple email addresses by the same person will result in disqualification. No other method of entry is accepted. Subscription to the free newsletter is the sole method of entry; no purchase or payment of any kind is required.
One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) Mountain House 30-Day Emergency Food Supply Kit (or equivalent one-month supply of Mountain House emergency food). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $939.99. Prize consists only of the items described; no cash alternative, substitution, or transfer is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs or expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein. Prize will be shipped to a street address within the 50 United States or D.C. only.
On or about October 15, 2026, one (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Potential winner will be notified by email (using the address provided at subscription) within seven (7) days of the drawing. Potential winner must respond and claim the prize within seven (7) days of notification. Failure to respond timely, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding in all matters.
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final. Entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize. Winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where lawful) Publicity Release within the time specified by Sponsor. Failure to do so may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, or for any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries or prize notifications.

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
